Top Medical Apps on Android in Panama: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the medical app landscape on the Android platform in Panama exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps' performance during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Mobile JKN, developed by BPJS Kesehatan, experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting from 1K downloads, it peaked at 1.3K in late October before settling to around 742 by the end of December. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 3.5K in October and closing the quarter at approximately 2.8K.

Doctolib - Your health partner showed a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 569 and gradually decreasing to 306 by the end of December. Active users also decreased from 5.8K at the quarter's start to 4.9K by the end.

Meu SUS Digital had a modest download rate, beginning with 402 downloads and declining to 164 by late December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from 4.3K to around 3.5K throughout the quarter.

Dr. Blood Pressure: Diabetes saw a decrease in downloads, from 374 to 87 by the quarter's end. However, active users increased mid-quarter, peaking at 1.5K in November before reducing to 1.2K in December.

Lastly, Farma Value began the quarter with 593 downloads, dropping significantly to just 5 downloads by the end. Active user numbers also declined from 1.4K to 853 over the same period.
